SENIOR HVAC ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our project site team on an urgent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design and execution particularly within EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) project environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and develop HVAC specifications calculations and layout drawings as per project requirements.
• Conduct vendor document reviews ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to close Inter-Discipline Check (IDC) points.
• Ensure that HVAC engineering deliverables are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical support to procurement construction and commissioning teams.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 12-15 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering in EPC projects.
• Proven experience in preparing HVAC design documents including:
• Heat load calculations
• Equipment selection
• Duct sizing and layout
• Piping and insulation
• Control system design
• Experience with vendor document review and alignment with project specifications.
• Strong inter-discipline coordination and ability to resolve design conflicts efficiently.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE SMACNA etc.)
• Proficiency in HVAC software tools and AutoCAD.
