Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description

Our luxury client within the hospitality space is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner, based in Dundee, to join their dynamic people-focused HR team.

As Senior HR Business Partner, you'll provide comprehensive support in all HR functions including recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations and organisational design to build the people strategy in line with the business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the HR Business Partner the annual appraisal process by communicating expectations, tracking progress and supporting managers in line with our business objectives.
  • Coordinate annual HR programs ensuring maximum participations levels in partnership with Learning and Development.
  • To assist the Director - Human Resources in the preparation of regular salary reviews including Annual Merit Process, Minimum and Living Wage.
  • To continuously review and interpret employment legislation updates, provide recommendations in respect of HR policy and practice to Director - Human Resources for review and implementation.
  • Consult and guide our Senior Management Team in the administration and management of performance management tools, succession planning and career path development.
  • Meet with Senior Management Team on a regular basis to understand HR issues and provide support mitigating any potential risk.
  • In collaboration with the HR Business Partner, manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, capability and redundancy.

The Candidate

  • Seeking a people focused leader with a proven track record in influencing internal and external stakeholders on a range of HR and organisational issues.
  • Strong relationship building skills with a genuine passion for people and for creating a more inclusive and engaged workforce.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative along with a keen eye for attention to detail and a strong team work ethic.
  • An appreciation for confidentiality, a sound understanding on employment law and legislation and experience of HR systems are essential
  • Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources or CIPD qualification at member level.
