Our client, a leading consultancy that provides crucial geotechnical engineering services across multiple sectors, is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. This is a permanent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a team of talented ground engineering specialists.

Working on both and international projects in transport, property infrastructure, mining, and oil and gas, you will be at the forefront of delivering essential services to our client's diverse array of partners.



Key Responsibilities:



Conducting detailed site investigations to assess ground conditions for various projects

Developing geotechnical designs and specifications based on site data

Collaborating with project partners and clients to deliver effective geotechnical solutions

Preparing comprehensive technical reports and presenting findings

Implementing innovative, cost-effective approaches to geotechnical challenges

Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards

Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative work environment

Engaging in continuous professional development to maintain technical excellence



Job Requirements:



Experience in geotechnical engineering, with strong knowledge of geotechnical principles

Proven ability to conduct site investigations and interpret data

Proficiency in geotechnical design and analysis software

Strong report writing and presentation skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
