Job Description
Summary\n\nWe’re partnering with an established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in London delivering fire engineering, fire safety, and fire strategy support across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare projects. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Senior Fire engineer or Principal Fire Engineer to help lead the development of their fire engineering capability and support major projects across the UK.\n\nAbout the position\n\nLead the delivery of fire engineering, fire strategy reports, code consultancy and fire safety design on complex schemes\n\nProvide expert guidance during design development, regulatory submissions, and technical reviews\n\nManage key client relationships and act as a senior point of contact\n\nSupport and mentor junior fire engineers, contributing to internal technical standards\n\nInfluence team growth and help shape the fire engineering function\n\nFlexible working with remote and hybrid options, UK-wide role with occasional travel for project or client meetings\n\nSenior/chartered salaries of over £100k available for chartered Fire Engineers\n\nAbout you\n\n5+ years experience in fire engineering, fire consultancy, fire safety engineering, or a similar technical role\n\nChartered or near-chartered (IFE/CEng) highly desirable\n\nStrong background in fire strategy development, building regulations, BS 9999 / BS 7974, and performance-based design\n\nConfident leading projects independently and representing the consultancy at a senior level\n\nAble to travel occasionally for key design meetings and site visits\n\nApply now\n\nIf you're a Senior Fire Engineer or Principle Fire Engineer looking to make the next step in your career, apply now or contact Hugo Oliver at Carriera\n\nDisclaimer:\n\nCarriera Limited values and promotes equality and no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
