Job Summary


We are seeking a strategic, operationally minded Senior Financial Planning Analyst who will be responsible for driving the company’s financial planning, reporting, and growth strategies. This role oversees all finance functions, including forecasting, financial analysis, capital planning, and risk management. This role will partner directly with the executive leadership team to support strategic capital needs decision-making across all divisions of the business. The ideal candidate will also have prior startup or high-growth company experience.

Strategic Financial Leadership

· Partner with executive leadership to evaluate capital projects and operational initiatives.

· Develop and execute financial strategies to support rapid growth while maintaining profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Support capital allocation decisions, including equipment purchases, and real estate investments.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports that provide insights into business performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management regarding financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Support technical accounting initiatives as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align financial objectives with business goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to inform investment strategies.

· Implement strong financial modeling and scenario analysis to inform operational & growth decisions.

  • Continuously improve financial processes and tools to support scalability and operational excellence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization (Sales, Engineering, Operations, etc) to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment of financial goals.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree is also required.
  • 5+ years of proven progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience with at least 2 years at a large financial services company.
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial report writing with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influencing strategy by translating into clear executive-level messaging.
  • Proven record as a valued business partner to senior-level management.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with expertise in multi-scenario modeling and sensitive analysis.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Construction and real estate development experience is essential.
