Senior Field Application Engineer

About the role:The Field Application Engineer is part of the Sales & Marketing department. who drives all necessary technical support actions to secure business creation at customers on wide portfolio.What you will do:Accountable to drive design wins in their target accountsRecognize assigned customer’s R&D organization, successfully builds close relationship with customer key R&D, test and other technical teams, to catch every design-in opportunity Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and value proposition deploymentActively follow up customer project design process until design-win, regularly update project progress and take prompt response to project change and customer request to secure the win Successfully builds relationships with sales and marketing team members, BGs, partners and customers in support of sales team objectivesSynthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmapsProject manages the Nexperia design in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the BGs and customerQualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establishes Nexperia's value proposition/position relative to the competitionQualifies the value of our products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing NexperiaOwns the block diagram process to ensure broader technical team understands the full system requirementsDelivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of Nexperia solutions within their practice areasCapable of independently solving customer’s technical issue for most cases, make the preliminary analysis to customer’s complicate technical issue and cowork with AE for further solution.Analyzes customer's technical objectives through relevant data gathering techniques enabling the sales team to be more predictive, effective and responsive to customer needsTrain distributor FAE to support mass market customers.what you will need:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, the first batch of universities is preferred.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HW design engineering, system engineering and field application engineering.Preferably, candidates should have related work experience in automotive segments. Being familiar with high power discrete (IGBT, SiC&GaN) applications.Must have strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stake holdersCandidates should possess the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is requiredWillingness to travel frequently is expectedTalent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
