We’re seeking a Senior Environmental Consulting & Wetlands Manager to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving high-impact projects, building strategic client relationships, and expanding our consulting practice.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level leadership and management position responsible for the execution and strategic oversight of our environmental and wetlands consulting services.

You will be leading and working alongside our wetlands/environmental professionals, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of projects, maintain and grow our client relationships, identify and secure new business opportunities and contribute to sustained company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Advise and support our wetlands specialists, actively engage in technical/hands-on work, and guide our team.
  • Strategic Planning: Seek out opportunities for growth in our wetlands services, collaborate with management to develop opportunities and identify barriers to overall success.
  • Project Oversight: Organize, manage, and track multiple projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to regulatory standards.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their needs, provide expert guidance, and represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for new contracts and partnerships. Contribute to proposals and networking efforts that support company expansion.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Provide technical guidance on wetland delineations, permitting, environmental impact assessments, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on wetlands, environmental assessments, or related projects.
  • Education in an environmental discipline, with management or business education (Bachelor’s or MBA) a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in client management and business development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a passion for sustainable and responsible growth.

Hours & Pay:

  • 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM)
  • Salary based on experience, education, and roles
