What\nyou’ll be doing
- \n
- Establish IV&V infrastructure and ways of working to\nsupport the full V-model lifecycle
- Set up and\ndeliver left-hand-side V-model processes, ensuring robust design,\nintegration, and configuration
- Support system\nand product integration activities, resolving cross-discipline\nconflicts and meeting contractual requirements
- Define and assure V&V activities and outputs,\nproviding evidence to substantiate design across the\nlifecycle
- Drive cross-engineering\ncollaboration and assurance, working with systems engineering teams\nand coordinating integration delivery

Your skills and\nexperiences
Essential:
\n
- Experience with the installation,\nconfiguration, and testing of Category 3 systems and\nequipment
- Practical involvement in testing and\ntrial activities, including preparation, execution, and review and\nsign-off
- Fault investigation and resolution\nskills within multi-faceted systems
- HNC in an\nEngineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience gained\nin a similar environment

Desirable:
- Background in\ndefence, naval, or IT environments
- Experience\nin commissioning activities, particularly within advanced or\nsafety-critical systems

The\nSSNA – Platform Complex\nSystems team:
The\nPlatform Complex\nSystems (PCS) team is a growing engineering function at the core of\nthe SSNA programme, responsible for establishing IV&V\ninfrastructure, defining V-model processes, and supporting system\nintegration across the full lifecycle. Working closely with\nstakeholders and programme workstreams, the team resolves\ncross-discipline engineering issues, ensures major systems are\nclearly defined and integrated, and drives collaboration through\nstructured governance, working groups, and engineering assurance\nactivities. As a new and expanding capability, PCS offers strong development\nopportunities, cross-programme exposure, and support toward\nchartership while contributing directly to the delivery of complex platform systems. We\noffer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles,\nsubject to meeting eligibility criteria.
