With significant growth in their submarine programmes, this permanent role will be based in Coventry, contributing to the security initiative. The role will be part of the Platform Complex Systems Delivery Team, which is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the delivery of technical input and engineering solutions for build activities, defect resolution, and change management.\nUnderstand the contractual and performance requirements for systems and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities.\nProduce documentation required for the design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, supporting calculations, design evidence, and justifications.\nSupport design reviews and presentations to customers.\nParticipate in and support the reviews of relevant supplier documentation to ensure it is captured and recorded appropriately.\nProvide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities, including acceptance of equipment from suppliers through to system acceptance by the customer.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nEssential:\n\nA relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background.\nExperience working across different engineering lifecycle phases.\nProven track record of system or equipment design in communications and/or electronics.\nTechnical report writing skills and experienced in requirements definition and management.Desirable:\n\nExperience with digital data networks.\nPossession of or working towards relevant Professional Registration (CEng).If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer with skills in radio communications and a passion for the defence sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to further your career.
