Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)

• A university degree (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng) in Civil Engineering, Highways Engineering, or Transportation

\n

• Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) professional, or working towards this with ICE, CIHT, or IHE

\n

• A valid Full driving licence

\n

• A member of a professional institution

\n

• Holder of CSCS Card, SMSTS, or equivalent

\n

Your Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Highways Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Basingstoke team, delivering top-notch highway design projects. This is your chance to:

• Conduct feasibility, preliminary, and detailed designs of highway maintenance and improvement schemes to DMRB and local authority standards using AutoCAD

\n

• Collaborate with other design disciplines in Common Data Environments

\n

• Provide design support to the highways design team and oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and design calculations

\n

• Prepare estimates, design programmes, and tender and contract documents

\n

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and authorities, attending meetings as necessary

\n
