About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Fermi Engineering Team and lead critical projects in Electrical and Mechanical engineering. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who combine technical depth, creativity, and leadership to deliver solutions at speed. You will play a key role in driving innovation, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical or mechanical systems for reliability and performance.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory codes (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, ASME).
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects under tight timelines without compromising quality.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- 7+ years of engineering experience in industrial, power, or related systems.
- Proven ability to lead projects and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of design tools and software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
