Job Title: Senior Engineer – P23 Evelena Healthcare Project\nLocation: London (UK South Region) Westminster\nCompany: Tier 1 Main Contractor\n\nOverview:\nOur client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join the business, supporting the delivery of the P23 Evelena Healthcare project in London. This role will play a critical part in ensuring engineering excellence, site control, and the implementation of quality and safety standards on a complex build scheme.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Lead the engineering function on site, acting as the senior engineering representative for the project.\n\n * \n\n Oversee site engineers and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure setting out, survey control, and QA processes are maintained to the highest standards.\n\n * \n\n Implement and manage Sisk’s Quality Assurance procedures and maintain accurate record keeping.\n\n * \n\n Take responsibility for Temporary Works Coordination and, where appointed, serve as the Lifting Operations Appointed Person.\n\n * \n\n Manage and review ITPs, method statements, risk assessments, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).\n\n * \n\n Provide engineering leadership to ensure construction is delivered in line with project specifications, tolerances, and safety standards.\n\n * \n\n Conduct regular H&S inspections and support the development of graduate and site engineers.\n\n * \n\n Integrate BIM and 3D scanning/point cloud survey data where applicable.\n\n * \n\n Contribute to driving performance improvements and identifying value-engineering opportunities.\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on complex building schemes, ideally healthcare or similarly regulated sectors.\n\n * \n\n Proficient in dimensional control, setting out, and rotating global/local grid systems.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of QA procedures and package-specific tolerances (e.g. concrete, drainage, steelwork, brickwork).\n\n * \n\n Skilled in AutoCAD, BIM workflows, and project RFI processes.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of Temporary Works and lifting operations.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and leadership skills.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * \n\n BEng or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline\n\n * \n\n Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)\n\n * \n\n Temporary Works Co-ordinator trained\n\n * \n\n A61 CPCS Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)\n\n * \n\n SMSTS or equivalent\n\n * \n\n Scaffold Inspection Awareness\n\n * \n\n First Aid certification\n\n * \n\n Service Avoidance Training\n\n * \n\n ASTA Planning knowledge desirable
