Job Description
Join a cutting-edge wireless communications company – Cambridge, Hybrid Working Model
This growing engineering team is developing next- Fixed Wireless Access platforms based on the latest 5G standards, delivering high-speed connectivity to rural and hard-to-reach regions worldwide. They are now looking for a 5G Embedded Software Engineer to support the development and optimisation of embedded software across high-performance networking systems.
You’ll work closely with hardware, systems and networking teams, contributing to the development of software powering advanced 5G infrastructure and helping optimise performance across complex Linux-based platforms.
For this 5G Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience developing embedded software in C and C++
- Good knowledge of Embedded Linux and networking stacks
- Experience working with high-performance networking or packet processing systems
- Understanding of 3GPP 4G/5G protocols or telecoms networking technologies
- Experience debugging and optimising low-latency, high-throughput systems
- Ideally, exposure to technologies such as DPDK, XDP or eBPF
