Senior Embedded Software Engineer\n\n * Southampton - Hybrid, 3 days on-site - flexible hours\n\n * Defence technology - security clearance required\n\n * £55,000 - £65,000\n\nAre you an experienced Embedded Software Engineer looking to contribute to cutting-edge defence technology?\n\nBased in Southampton, this Senior Embedded Software Engineer job offers the opportunity to work on advanced embedded systems in a secure environment.\n\nDue to the sensitive nature of the projects, security clearance will be required.\n\nThe Senior Embedded Software Engineer job main responsibilities:\n\n- Develop C/C++ code for embedded systems and user interfaces\n\n- Design and develop GUIs using commercial and open-source libraries\n\n- Develop system control, monitoring software, and video processing applications\n\n- Design and implement test frameworks and stimuli\n\nSkills required:\n\n- Experience in C/C++ programming for embedded systems\n\n- Familiarity with GUI and video processing software development\n\n- Linux device driver development\n\n- Object-orientated programming experience\n\nSecurity Requirements:\n\nDue to the nature of this role, candidates must be eligible for security clearance and be a UK passport holder.\n\nWhat's on offer:\n\nSalary up to £55,000 - £65,000, company shares, flexible and hybrid working, enhanced pension, private healthcare and more
