Job Description: Senior Embedded Engineer

Location Waukesha WI (onsite role)

Responsibilities

Skills/Tasks requirements

Experience in Medical systems particularly in CT (Computed Tomography)

Identify legacy items still dependent on code residing in ClearCase

Migrate ClearCase code to Gitlab environment and integrate artifact delivery to latest process

Migrate CT applications to latest VxWorks 7 platform and test with seamless integration and delivery into existing products

Collaborate with cross-functional teams after identifying dependencies to perform effective migrations managing all dependencies

Take ownership of tasks and deliver, submitting merge requests while helping team members through programming and code reviews

Perform impact assessment, document verification plans, and organize/execute formal code verification for releases

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or in related STEM Major

10+ years of C/C++ experience in embedded software development

Experience successfully migrating code bases from clearcase to Gitlab environment and testing for effective migration

Experience with build pipelines, build infrastructure, and formal verification test execution and planning

Tools/Technologies

C, C++, Python Programming, Linux, VxWorks, Clearcase, Gitlab, Sonar

Strong analytical, DevOps, and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

ALM/JAMA, MyWorkshop

GNU Make and CMake experience
