Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer\nLocation: Greater Manchester (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)\nSalary: Up to £50k (DOE) + up to 15% bonus\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead a Hardware and Electronics Development team. You will play a key role in the development of next- electronic systems, supporting products from concept through to manufacture. This position combines hands-on design work with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Design electronic hardware including schematic capture and PCB layout\n\n * Deliver product development projects from concept through to production\n\n * Lead day-to-day activities of a small engineering team\n\n * Interpret project requirements and communicate deliverables clearly\n\n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and manufacturing\n\n * Identify and evaluate new technologies for future product development\n\n * Support prototyping, testing, and new product introduction (NPI)\n\n * Produce and manage design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports\n\n * Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g.

ISO9001)\n\n * Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership\n\nAbout You\n\n * Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline\n\n * Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electronic hardware design\n\n * Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB design (Altium )\n\n * Experience testing electronic components and assemblies\n\n * Background in Digital, analogue, and microcontroller-based systems\n\n * Proficient with communication protocols (e.g. LTE, Ethernet, CAN, I2C)\n\n * Understanding of the full product development lifecycle\n\n * Experience supporting manufacturing and NPI activities\n\n * Comfortable working in a hands-on technical role\n\n * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities\n\n * Experience leading or mentoring engineers\n\nPlease note, we cannot offer sponsorship for the role.\nIf interested, please send over an updated CV
