Plus the initial project is a landmark data centre job which will be strategic for your career.\n\nYou will like\n\nSenior Mechanical Projects Engineer job itself where you will be responsible for the Project Management, Coordination, Installation and commissioning of large scale Lighting, Power, BMS, UPS & generator retrofit for a data centre/computer centre.  Value of initial client/project £25M+ in value.  More specifically:\n\nDevelop system specifications and prepare construction drawings and documentation, plant and equipment schedules for electrical systems.\n\t\nTechnical Submissions and RFI communication with PM’s.\n\t\nPlace orders with Suppliers and Sub-contractors.\n\t\nCoordinate the works inc subcontractors.\n\t\nManage the whole contract costs from inception to final account, inc preparing and agreeing the Monthly Application for Payments.\n\t\nKeep track of Project costs including Labour and Material expenditure, forecasts.\n\t\nManage Variation and Additional works and their associated costs.\n\t\nConduct site visits and inspections and attend client and subcontractor meetings.\n\t\nResolve problems and issues during construction\n\t\nOrganise services Commissiong and start up of new systems.\n\t\nPrepare Operating and Maintenance Literature.\n\t\nProvide technical support to clients and training.\n\nYou will have\n\nTo be successful as a Electrical Projects Engineer, you will have experience working within the Building Services Sector as a Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Site Manager, MEP Manager or M&E Manager.
