Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing PCBs for medical products encompassing various hardware components such as SoC, sensor array, and a set of various radios of various frequencies. You will also be responsible for board bring up, and some low-level embedded software/firmware development. The position requires a candidate that is a self-starter, motivated, and a team player with effective communication skills.

Ensure compliance with medical safety standards. Collaborate with development teams. 5+ years experience required.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hardware design
• Digital consumer product circuit board design
• Skilled in schematic, PCB design, and layout
• Experience in board bring up with strong troubleshooting skills
• Skilled in reverse Engineering existing PCB design
• Embedded software/firmware debugging
• SMD soldering skills, and hands on experience with lab tools (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
• Experience with Altium
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Medical or controlled industry experience is a plus
• Basic RF design experience (good to have)
• FGPA/DSP programming skills (good to have)
