Backed by extensive research and development, these smart, sustainable solutions have demonstrated real-world effectiveness and can be deployed quickly and cost-efficiently.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Senior Operations team, where you will take ownership of engineering activities across the full project lifecycle.\n\nRole: Principal Project Engineer\n\nLocation: London\n\nSalary: £90,000–£110,000\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject Leadership: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with all technical and regulatory requirements.\nTechnical Engineering: Lead the development of electrical designs and schematics, define system components, and review work completed by suppliers and contractors.\nSystem Integration: Configure and optimise battery storage, EV charging, and renewable energy systems within an intelligent management platform.\nClient & Partner Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and third-party installers, providing guidance to support seamless project delivery.\n\nRequired Experience\n\n3–5+ years of hands-on experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS), alongside 10+ years in electrical engineering.\nStrong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and supervisory control systems.\nProven track record of delivering complex engineering projects, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors.\nFamiliarity with grid codes, regulatory frameworks, and best practices for distributed energy resources (DER) and BESS projects.\n\nFor more information about this exciting opportunity, please get in touch:\n\n(url removed)
