Senior Electrical Engineer – Topside\n Location: London, UK (with travel to the Middle East)\n Employment Type: 6-Month Contract\n\nOverview\n We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support detailed engineering activities for offshore topside projects, including brownfield modifications. Based in London, this role will involve travel to the Middle East to support project delivery. You will work within a specialist engineering team, ensuring technical excellence, coordination, and compliance across all electrical engineering activities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInterface with subcontractors and report to the Lead Engineer\nCoordinate with mechanical, piping, and installation teams to ensure integrated design delivery\nReview engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project scope, standards, and specifications\nTrack key project milestones including IFC drawings and technical reviews\nContribute to design documentation, models, and material selection\nAttend project, vendor, and engineering review meetings\nSupport HAZID, HAZOP, and safety-focused design activities\nKey Requirements\n\nDegree in Electrical Engineering\nExperience with LV, MV, and HV systems, including calculations\nKnowledge of electrical protection systems and grid or generator synchronisation\nBackground in power system automation and integration\nExperience with 3D modelling, MTOs, and constructability reviews\nExperience supporting procurement and vendor packages (MR, RFQ, TBE, PR)\nWillingness to travel to the Middle East as required
