Description
Lead the design and optimization of electrical systems supporting critical infrastructure projects, including gas processing & storage facilities, compressor stations, pipelines, and equipment.
This is a high-impact role where you will drive growth, operational improvements, and system safety across complex industrial environments - Reviewing power and electrical systems, supporting new projects and upgrades, while providing overall electrical guidance on capital projects from concept through execution and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical power distribution systems supporting pipelines, compressor stations, storage facilities, and power assets
- Support both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
- Integrate advanced technologies including protection relaying schemes and data acquisition systems to enhance operational safety and reliability
- Implement safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems
- Review and apply electrical schematics, system layouts, protection coordination, and utility interconnection requirements
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, and other applicable standards
- Support projects from concept through completion, aligning with schedule, budget, and business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence and safety culture
- Support Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC project phases as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 8+ years of experience in natural gas, power , data centers, or related industrial infrastructure
- Strong understanding of power distribution systems, substations, and systems and assets
- Experience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing mitigation strategies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools
- Experience with PLCs, instrumentation and HMI systems and control system integration
- Understanding of systems studies utilizing ETAP or SKM software
- Project management experience
- Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC project environments
