Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with a leading building services consultancy to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their multi-discipline team.\nThis Senior Electrical Engineer role offers a salary of up to £65,000 plus a car allowance and an excellent benefits package.\nIf you have strong building services experience and enjoy working across surveys, reports, and technical consultancy, then submit your CV to apply today.\n\nResponsibilities and duties of the Senior Electrical Engineer role\n\nWithin this role, you will:\n\nWork in a senior role within a multi-discipline mechanical and electrical building services team, providing design, technical advice, and consultancy services\nDeliver professional consulting services including site surveys, meetings, feasibility studies, due diligence, technical reports, and specifications\nManage multiple projects in a co-ordinated manner, ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines and cost requirements\nWork on your own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of electrical discipline elements\nTake a electrical discipline lead role on projects where required\nCoordinate effectively with internal and external design team members across all project stages\nProvide excellent client care and reporting throughout the full project lifecycle\nAssist in seeking opportunities for additional business and contribute to proposals and technical bids\nProfessional qualifications\n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline\nStrong experience in building services engineering\nGood understanding of electrical design principles (practical or theoretical) to support consultancy work\nExperience delivering surveys, reports, and technical advisory services\nChartered Engineer status (or working towards) desirable but not essentialPersonal skills\n\nThe Senior Electrical Engineer role would suit someone who is:\n\nElectrically biased with strong technical and analytical skills\nComfortable working independently and managing multiple projects\nA strong communicator with excellent report writing ability\nClient-focused with a professional and proactive approach\nOrganised with strong time management skills\nAmbitious, with an interest in developing further into design or broader engineering responsibilitiesSalary and benefits\n\nUp to £65,000 salary\n£4,000 car allowance\n4x salary life assurance\nIncome protection\nHybrid working\n37.5-hour working week\nFull flexible benefits portal#LI-CM1\n\nINDNUC\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
