Senior Electrical Engineer – Manchester\n\nA successful and independently owned building services consultancy is continuing to expand its presence in Manchester – and they’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in that growth.\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to step into a senior-level role with the autonomy to lead your own projects and manage your own workload. You’ll be joining a small but growing team, working closely with an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer across a variety of commercial, logistics and industrial schemes – current projects include a major distribution centre and a shopping centre.\n\nIf you're confident working independently, enjoy variety in your workload, and like the idea of helping to build something from the ground up, this could be a great fit.\n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\n£60,000 - £70,000 salary depending on experience\n\nMainly home working – just 1–2 days in the office every fortnight\n\nRelaxed culture\n\nGenuine opportunity to grow a team and take on more leadership as the office expands\n\nRole highlights:\n\nTake the lead on projects\n\nWork across all RIBA stages, including concept and detailed design\n\nAttend and contribute to client/design team meetings\n\nSite inspections and reporting\n\nClient facing role, collaborating with different offices\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n5+ years’ experience in an MEP design consultancy environment\n\nConfident in lighting and electrical design software such as Dialux, Relux, and Amtech\n\nCompetent in AutoCAD and Revit\n\nComfortable working independently and taking ownership of your projects\n\nDegree-qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related subject\n\nWorking towards Chartership (or already Chartered)\n\nComfortable being client-facing and happy to work collaboratively\n\nRight to work in UK
