Our client are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their team that focus on interfaces, delivering our class-leading audio products.
They are looking for someone who has solid technical skills and a proven track-record of product delivery, and can apply your engineering mindset to the non-technical aspects of projects. The role involves technical leadership and system-level design, while still allowing you to get your hands dirty at component level.
Responsibilities
- Analog and mixed signal design. You’ll have well rounded design skills and cover areas including power supplies, high speed design, and wireless technology.
- Producing schematics and PCBs to quality, cost and regulatory requirements, and deliver them against production schedules.
- Design authority for your hardware. You’ll own it throughout its life cycle and be the point of contact for any electronics issues. You may also consult on other projects in the Group that suit your skills and experience.
- Coaching and mentoring other engineers, peer review of designs, helping to define best practices and improving our engineering processes.
- Investigating new technologies in line with their roadmaps, supporting production and making enhancements to our existing products.
Requirements
- A degree in Electronics Engineering or related subject
- Minimum of five years professional experience in an electronics design role.
- A proven track-record of technical leadership and product delivery.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills at component and system level.
- Excellent communication skills; negotiation, coaching, and team building.
- Interest in Audio Electronics
