Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Member of the Technical Staff to lead the design and development of next- electronic hardware. In this role, you will support advanced projects in processing, computing, and sensor/actuator technologies within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Projects typically span 12 to 18 months and include both sponsored contracts and internally funded R&D efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in collaboration, brings recent experience with COTS FPGAs, processors, or SoCs, and can immediately contribute to advanced PCB and digital electronic system designs.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. with an active Secret clearance (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree
- 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (5–15 considered)
- Strong proficiency in electronic circuit design, system architecture, and PCB design
- Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (DDR3/4, PCIe, Gigabit serial links)
- Knowledge of power integrity and conditioning circuitry for digital PCBs
- Familiarity with FPGA firmware (VHDL/Verilog) and microcontroller programming (C/C++) at a support level
- Proficiency with tools such as Siemens Designer/Layout, HyperLynx, ANSYS, SPICE, MATLAB
- Experience with miniature electronic packaging, bare die, and chip-scale packages
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage evolving requirements
