SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER\n\nLooking for Senior Electrical Engineer with proven experience, advanced skills, and a deep understanding of electrical engineering, following a span of project wins.\n\nWhat we offer:\n\n * £55.00 per hour\n\n * 6-month initial contract with opportunity for long-term work\n\n * Freelance contract (outside IR35)\n\nCompany Overview:\n\nOur client is a specialist engineering consultancy with over 15 years in the market.\n\nThey are specialists in the Data Centre sector and as such offers an opportunity to work solely within the Mission Critical space.\n\nMain Responsibilities:\n\n * The senior electrical engineer will lead or support full data centre design projects from early stages (Stage 3 or 4 onwards).\n\n * The senior electrical engineer will work closely with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders (developers, contractors, and clients).\n\n * The senior electrical engineer will oversee and coordinate technical design deliverables, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.\n\n * The senior electrical engineer will provide expert input across mechanical or electrical systems based on project needs.\n\n * The senior electrical engineer will report progress and technical issues directly to senior management.\n\n * The senior electrical engineer will collaborate across global teams as needed.\n\nSkills and background:\n\n * Proven experience delivering large-scale data centre projects.\n\n * Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, depending on role.\n\n * Ability to own a project from the design stage through execution.\n\n * Strong understanding of full design lifecycle and technical specifications.\n\n * Comfortable leading teams or taking full ownership of project sections.\n\n * Experience across multiple data centre builds is a strong advantage
