Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description

Position: Senior Electrical Engineer / EC&I

Location: East Kilbride, Scotland

Recruitment Lead: Guénola DEMOL

Step Into a Global CleanTech Leader

It is not just engineering systems — we’re building a cleaner, smarter, more sustainable future. As a Senior Electrical Engineer / EC&I, you’ll join an international CleanTech pioneer where innovation is driven by collaboration, autonomy, and a deep respect for people.

This role is your opportunity to shape cutting-edge UV/Ozone solutions that are transforming industries — all while being trusted to work independently, free from micromanagement, and directly connected to the strategic heart of the business.

What You'll Do

Design with Impact: Lead the design and development of sophisticated electrical control systems featuring PLCs (Schneider or Siemens), inverters, pumps, sensors, and more.

Build from the Ground Up: Create wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and BoMs — bringing your systems to life from concept through to completion.

Ensure Excellence: Drive compliance with global standards (CE, UKCA, UL, C-UL) across safety, EMC, and environmental protection requirements.

Bring It Together: Integrate systems using protocols like Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP — ensuring everything works in harmony.

Support What Matters: Oversee testing, contribute to documentation, and support product upgrades with a long-term vision in mind.

Collaborate Across Borders: Work closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Operations Director.

What You Bring

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Design Systems, or Control Engineering.

Strong experience designing and programming PLC-based systems (Siemens or Schneider).

Deep understanding of compliance and electrical integration standards.

Fluency with industrial communication protocols and system integration.

A collaborative mindset, with the ability to own your projects from start to finish.

Why You’ll Thrive Here

You’ll be empowered — not micromanaged.

You’ll have the autonomy of a technical lead, within a supportive, human-first environment.

You’ll shape the future of a high-potential site with real visibility across the organization.

And you’ll be part of a culture that prizes curiosity, technical mastery, and meaningful collaboration.

This isn’t just another engineering role — it’s your chance to lead, innovate, and grow in a company that sees you as a person first, and an expert second.
