Document Controller - Social Housing

Based in Warwickshire

Full-Time, Fixed term contract

Salary: £43k



We are currently recruiting for a Senior Document Controller to work with a leading Construction Contractor working on a planned maintenance project within social housing.



Document Controller - Key Responsibilities:



Quality assure incoming documents against file naming standards and feedback any issues to the originators, providing guidance where required and retained on central document management system

Review and control of document management protocols

Clear communication of expectations for documents management

Produce weekly report of information logged and circulate

Completion, maintenance and monitoring of records

Ensure proper records maintained for document distribution

Perform day to day admin tasks in regards to the clients systems

Produce regional system usage reports for the project teams and System Manager

Maintain, issue and distribute controlled copies of information ensuring compliance with all aspects of the design management procedures.

Provide training to participants, designers and specialist suppliers on the project on how to use the drawing management system.

Check information on drawings and troubleshoot any problems to do with the drawing management system and peripherals.

Use document management and other management/collaboration tools as necessary to meet project requirements.What we are looking for:



Proven experience of working within document control and document management toolsets

Strong Microsoft Office experience

Experience of working in the construction industry (ideally social housing)

Knowledge of document management systems

Knowledge of Information Management procedure

Ability to pick up new software and systems very quickly
