Job Description
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep experience implementing DevSecOps practices to help drive the next evolution of our cloud, automation, and software delivery capabilities. This role will focus heavily on building secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating governance and compliance controls, and establishing standardized “golden path” DevOps processes that enable development teams to move quickly while maintaining strong security and operational standards.The ideal candidate will bring senior-level DevOps engineering expertise combined with hands-on experience integrating security into infrastructure, deployment pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud- development practices. This engineer will serve as a force multiplier for development teams by building automation, deployment systems, and security-focused DevOps capabilities that reduce friction, improve reliability, and streamline secure software delivery across Azure and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Implement DevSecOps practices including automated vulnerability scanning, dependency management, and compliance enforcement
- Build “golden path” deployment processes that simplify secure software delivery for development teams
- Integrate automated approval gates, security checks, and governance controls into release pipelines
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives across Azure and AWS environments
- Improve deployment reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency through automation
- Partner with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline delivery processes
- Help reduce technical debt by enforcing software versioning and dependency standards
- Evaluate and implement DevOps and cloud tooling aligned with business and security objectives
- Create systems and processes that reduce developer friction while maintaining compliance standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure automation
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation
- Experience implementing DevSecOps, governance, or security automation within deployment pipelines
- Azure DevOps experience
- AWS experience highly transferable and acceptable
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment automation
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, dependency management, and security/compliance tooling
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks and deployment systems
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams
- Experience in highly automated cloud or startup environments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

The Pay Rate range for this position is $45 - $70 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
