Job Description :
⦁    Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of a high-performance Agile development team based in Oakland, California.
⦁    The ideal resource started out as a Developer, will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience, has been exposed to a multitude of technologies and eventually found his/her true passion in DevOps automation.
⦁    This is a long-term consulting engagement that requires On-Premise DevOps expertise and not Cloud or AWS engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁    Develop, test and maintain build and deployment scripts in CI/CD framework/tools to automate and streamline deployment processes.
⦁    Drive the DevOps team toward automation and deployment best practices.
⦁    Partner with the software architect and development teams in designing DevOps processes that help achieve team goals.
⦁    Produce and maintain documentation on installations, procedures, and requirements for systems.
⦁    Monitor applications.
⦁    Research, suggest and implement new technologies, strategies and ways to solve technical issues.
⦁    TECHNOLOGIES
⦁    Jenkins, Git, Docker, Docker Enterprise, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Nexus, Artifactory, Ansible, Nginx, Cassandra/MongoDB, Terraform, Ruby.
SKILLS
⦁    Manage Linux based systems
⦁    Code and configure CI/CD
⦁    Manage source control systems
⦁    Firm grasp of internet, cloud and network security concepts
⦁    Containerization and orchestration
⦁    Infrastructure as code
