Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Onsite San Francisco, CA (5 days/week)

Compensation: $170,000 $260,000 base + competitive equity

Role Summary

Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure development across deployment, observability,

and CI/CD systems. This is a high-impact role responsible for scaling technical operations from the

ground up in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. You will work closely with engineering leadership and

be fully onsite in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for single- and multi-tenant environments
• Build observability stacks including monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment systems
• Lead incident response and infrastructure reliability efforts
• Collaborate with engineering, AI research, and leadership to align systems with product goals

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience, including at least one senior-level position
• Demonstrated experience building infrastructure from scratch at a startup
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
• Proficient in JavaScript or similar programming
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP )
• Computer Science or Engineering degree from a top university
• High ownership mentality with strong execution capabilities
• Ability to work full-time onsite in San Francisco

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B SaaS or contract-heavy technology companies
• Familiarity with LLMs or machine learning infrastructure
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Pulumi)
• Background in scaling single-tenant infrastructure for enterprise use
