Senior Design Manager in Malvern

Ivy Resource Group are working with a well-established contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Design Manager for a permanent role based in Malvern, overseeing the design process on a range of commercial projects including schools, hospitals, MOD bases, colleges, universities, and leisure centres.

The Role:

\n

\n
• Assist in the development and implementation of design management processes and procedures.

\n

• Manage design on multiple projects throughout Pre-Construction, Construction and Handover phase.

\n

• Manage the flow of information between all key stakeholders - consultants/subcontractors/site/client.

\n

• Production of Design Release Schedule in coordination with the project programme and procurement schedule.

\n

• Co-ordination of Design Team and Specialist designing subcontractors.

\n

• Compile SAP/SBEM information for submission and compliance with building regulations.

\n

• Input into achieving environmental assessment schemes for buildings, such as BREEAM & Passivhaus.

\n

• Work with consultants such as Ecologist, Arboriculturist etc. To determine what is required for the project.

\n

• Attend project interviews.

\n

The Ideal Candidate:

\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager on commercial projects

\n

• Strong track record in schools, healthcare, MOD, or leisure sectors

\n

• Experience within Tier 1 contracting environments is highly desirable

\n

• Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills

\n

• Stable career history demonstrating long-term commitment

\n

• Provides strong and visible leadership and demonstrates through your own positive actions your commitment to the company values and ethics

\n

Salary & Package:

• Up to £75,000 - £80,000 per annum + Car allowance

\n
