Job Description

We are hiring for a Senior Technical Manager or Senior Design Manager to lead on a £200m high-rise, mixed-used scheme in London. Managing a small team and leading the project from inception through to completion you will be joining a leading London developer who portfolio ranges from student accommodation to prime residential tower blocks!\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and manage a team of Technical Coordinators/Managers and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.\nProvide strategic input into planning design and guide the optimisation process through to approval.\nSupervise the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality production information.\nCollaborate closely with Land and Planning, as well as Sales and Marketing teams, to develop technical specifications.\nPrepare and present the Pre-Contract Programme to stakeholders.\nOversee the timely submission and follow-up of statutory queries and applications (NHBC, LABC, Building Regulations).\nConduct regular site inspections, focusing on Health & Safety compliance and reporting.\nLiaise with the Commercial team to maintain budget adherence and cost controls.\nAttend and lead various project meetings, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external parties.\nProactively resolve technical and construction challenges as they arise.Job Requirements:\n\nProven experience in delivering medium to high-rise residential developments.\nIn-depth knowledge of building regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legislation.\nExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.\nA degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering. \n\nLocation: Southwark\n Salary: £80-£95,000\n Start: September
