Job Role: Senior Design Manager\n\nLocation: Leeds, Yorkshire\n\nSalary: £70,000/£80,000 + Package (D.O.E)\n\nOur client a leading Regional Contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior Design Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes within the (Healthcare, Residential, Commercial & Educational sectors) throughout the Yorkshire region.\n\nJob Role:\n\n * putting together a winning bid to tender for new projects\n\n * hiring and managing design specialists to work on a project\n\n * discussing projects with clients, managing client expectations and negotiating features\n\n * upholding legislation, codes and standards during the design process\n\n * ensuring that all designs are correct, with clear and specific labelling and design information\n\n * managing the project, ensuring it is on track to meet both deadlines and budget constraints\n\n * conducting meetings and giving presentations on the design project\n\n * Experience in implementing Digital Technologies and/or Advanced Applications within construction projects\n\n * Good IT skills including software skills in MS Excel & Word\n\nOffering a generous benefits package and work alongside some of the best people in the industry, this is a great opportunity to join a company with a healthy pipeline of works in the region.\n\nPlease call Ryan Hayes @ Orchard Recruitment for a confidential chat
