Job Description
Job Title: Senior Demand Planner - Grocery (Top 3)\n\nTravel required to customer sites.\n\nAre you a natural relationship-builder, a supply chain problem-solver, and someone who loves making things run brilliantly? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, collaboration, and proactive thinking truly matter — this is the role for you.\n\nWe’re looking for a Demand Planning Supply Chain Lead to act as the crucial link between our Supply Chain and Commercial teams and grocery customers. You’ll be at the centre of communication, planning, and execution, ensuring right-first-time delivery of commercial plans and exceptional on-shelf availability for millions of shoppers.\n\n What You’ll Do\n\nCommercial Support & Customer Management\n\n * Build a strong, collaborative relationship with the Grocery Senior Account Manager\n\n * Support commercial tasks including reporting, promotions planning and admin\n\n * Maintain accurate product information, calendars, and systems across both businesses\n\n * Track and analyse KPIs including sales, service, distribution and promotional performance\n\n * Work closely with Grocery Buying Admin and Supply Chain teams\n\n * Create customer presentations, performance reviews and sales insight reports\n\nSupply Chain Communication & Coordination\n\n * Act as the primary day-to-day link between our client and customer Supply Chain\n\n * Deliver brilliant basics including daily service updates, Connect reporting, weekly reviews, and supply outlooks\n\n * Manage inflight shortages and TIMS updates for both parties\n\nInsight, Accuracy & Decision Support\n\n * Deliver clear, intelligent insight on supply constraints, risks and opportunities\n\n * Verify data accuracy to maintain high standards across systems and communication\n\n * Align forecasts and volumes through collaboration with forecasting and commercial teams\n\nIssue Resolution & Supply Recovery\n\n * Lead recovery plans to resolve issues quickly and effectively\n\n * Be the first point of contact for all our customer supply issues\n\n * Drive mitigation plans with clear tracking and cross-functional alignment\n\nPromotional & Seasonal Execution\n\n * Own flawless execution of promotions from setup to delivery\n\n * Test orders and ensure both businesses are promo-ready\n\n * Lead planning for key events including Easter and Christmas\n\n * Track seasonal volumes and identify risks, impacts and solutions\n\nContinuous Improvement & Projects\n\n * Drive supply chain improvement projects with measurable benefits\n\n * Support innovation, rebrands, and product changes across branded and private label products\n\n * Conduct store visits to find opportunities for ongoing improvement\n\n What You Bring\n\n * Strong communication skills and confidence managing customer relationships\n\n * A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving\n\n * Ability to analyse data, spot trends and translate insight into action\n\n * A love for organisation, accuracy and operational excellence\n\n * Experience in supply chain, FMCG, retail or commercial support\n\nReady to make a real impact and help shape the future of our supply chain success?
