As a Senior Data Scientist, you will drive innovation in cybersecurity by developing advanced machine learning models that power a global risk rating platform. You’ll work with complex datasets to uncover threats, assess risk, and deliver intelligence that protects businesses worldwide. Collaborating closely with engineers and product teams, your insights will directly shape data-driven decisions and enhance platform accuracy. This role is ideal for a data scientist passionate about using AI to solve high-impact real-world problems in a rapidly growing tech environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for cybersecurity risk scoring and threat intelligence.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to detect patterns, anomalies, and meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production environments.
  • Lead data science initiatives, contribute to code reviews, and define best practices.
  • Validate models for robustness, scalability, and real-world applicability.
  • Translate complex technical findings into actionable business recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging data science methods and apply them to evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience applying data science and machine learning to real-world challenges.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field — or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, MLFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of ML algorithms, performance metrics, and model deployment workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical content clearly.
  • Experience or interest in cybersecurity, risk scoring, or threat intelligence is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and/or Scala is a plus.
