About the Company

Openworks is a dynamic and innovative company that prides itself on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. With 40 years in business, OpenWorks has earned year-over-year recognition on the Inc. 5000 and Franchise 500 fastest-growing organizations list. We are committed to empowering our employees and enhancing their skills to drive success in all aspects of sales and customer engagement.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst at OpenWorks, you'll turn data into clarity. You'll partner across the business to uncover insights, build trusted reporting, and help teams make smarter, faster decisions.

This role sits at the center of our modern analytics ecosystem – supporting our Enterprise Data Warehouse and Power BI environment built on AWS. You'll design dashboards, dig into trends, and ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

With AI and GenAI already embedded in how we work, you'll also leverage tools like Microsoft Copilot, large models, and machine learning concepts to accelerate analysis and enable self-service insights across the organization.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just build dashboards – but connects data to decisions, tells a clear story, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve customer experience, service provider performance, and internal operations.

What You'll Do

  • Use GenAI, machine learning concepts, and advanced analytics to surface insights and accelerate analytical workflows
  • Build, maintain, and evolve Power BI dashboards and semantic models aligned to enterprise KPIs and departmental goals
  • Perform deep exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across customers, providers, and operations
  • Apply strong Python and SQL skills to support analytics, reporting, and insight across the organization
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable, high-impact analytics solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy and trust by monitoring data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance standards
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake, integrating data from multiple source systems
  • Enable and support self-service analytics through strong data modeling, documentation, and AI-assisted insights
  • Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the analytics ecosystem

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related data role
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design
  • Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Lakes
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud-based data platforms, including AWS (e.g., S3, RDS/Aurora, data pipelines)
  • 2+ years of experience using GenAI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot 365, ChatGPT, Claude) in analytical or business workflows
  • Working knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts as applied to real business problems
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in emerging analytics, AI, and cloud technologies

Why OpenWorks?

  • Own and evolve a modern analytics ecosystem, delivering insights that influence decisions across the organization
  • Work on a modern data platform that serves as the foundation for a strong and growing AI practice
  • Partner cross-functionally with leaders across the business to turn data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives that directly shape OpenWorks' success
  • Join a collaborative, people-focused culture
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and the opportunity for long-term career development

Ready to Turn Data into Impact?

If you're a curious, insight-driven analyst who's excited to build trusted analytics, uncover meaningful insights, and help teams make smarter decisions every day – we'd love to connect.
