SENIOR ANALYTICS ENGINEER – DATA SYSTEMS & OPERATIONS (AI + REAL-WORLD SYSTEMS)

COLOMBUS, OHIO METROPOLITAN AREA (HYBRID / HIGHLY IN-PERSON)

$150,000 – $175,000 BASE SALARY + EQUITY

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable data models, pipelines, and production-grade systems
• Develop real-time and near real-time monitoring solutions for system and operational performance
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured, automated data workflows
• Build systems that improve efficiency across operations, planning, and production environments
• Partner cross-functionally to shape how teams make decisions and run processes
• Own projects end-to-end from problem definition through implementation and measurable impact
• Continuously iterate to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in data-focused roles (analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar)
• Strong SQL and Python fundamentals
• Solid foundation in data modeling (dimensional, relational, or entity-based)
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines and systems
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Proven ability to own problems and deliver business impact

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with real-time, streaming, or event-driven data
• Exposure to operational environments (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, hardware, or infrastructure systems)
• Familiarity with modern data tooling (dbt, Spark, cloud data platforms)
