ComResource is looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

We need someone to assist in building scalable data solutions, supporting data platforms, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and data solutions
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical designs
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement data solutions
• Develop and execute SQL scripts for ETL and data validation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support data platforms
• Research emerging data technologies and trends
• Support internal projects, including system improvements and tool development
• Provide mentoring and guidance to team members
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables effectively

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong SQL experience (3–5 years)
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data engineering concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and data tools (DBT, Snowflake)
• Programming experience in Python or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SDLC and release management processes

Desired:

• Experience with Big Data technologies and data warehousing
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
• Familiarity with tools such as Kafka, Spark, or Git
• Experience with query optimization and performance tuning
