Senior Data Analytics Engineer
Downtown Chicago | Hybrid (3 days in office)

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer on the centralized analytics team, you’ll be the glue between business, data engineering, and BI – designing analytics solutions that actually get used, not just admired in slide decks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining analytics solutions across raw and semantic data layers
• Partnering with business teams to turn fuzzy asks into clear data models, dashboards, and analysis
• Building and optimizing SQL + Python pipelines and models for ’s analytics warehouse
• Helping set and enforce analytics standards and best practices across the org
• Championing self-service analytics with Tableau, Alteryx, semantic layers, and CI/CD
• Documenting, testing, and validating data so people can trust what they’re looking at
• Coaching embedded analysts and teaming up on ad-hoc deep dives
• Growing your expertise in cloud, options trading, and financial risk while you build the systems that support them

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years in data analytics/engineering/BI/risk/software – you’ve shipped real stuff
• Strong SQL (complex analytical queries) and Python for data pipelines
• Experience with Tableau and Alteryx (or similar BI/data prep tools)
• Comfort with git, branching, PRs, and modern dev practices
• Exposure to dbt, Airflow/Dagster/Prefect, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Databricks/Snowflake)
• Solid grasp of data modeling (3NF, star schema) and applied statistics
• Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical partners without making anyone’s eyes glaze over
