Our client is a rapidly scaling software development start up looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer during an exciting phase of expansion. Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and implementation of security measures across cloud infrastructure, codebases, and internal tooling.

Conduct regular threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, and risk assessments.

Drive secure SDLC practices and champion DevSecOps principles.

Manage and fine-tune tools for detection, response, and prevention (SIEM, EDR, WAFs, IAM, etc.).

Act as a trusted advisor to engineering and product teams, balancing innovation with security best practices.
Requirements:

5+ years in hands-on security engineering roles.

Expertise across AWS (or GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, etc.

Deep familiarity with NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP compliance frameworks.

Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and automation mindset.

Passionate about proactive security, not just responding to alerts.
