Job Description

Senior Controls Project Engineer\n\nKey Details:\n• Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)\n• Location: Manchester\n• Contract: Permanent, full-time\n\nRole Overview: You’ll be responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and optimising advanced control systems that power high-value automation projects. This includes developing LLC code, SCADA solutions, and safety systems, while taking the lead on technical problem-solving and system integration.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience:\n• Proven experience in controls engineering, ideally with Siemens S7 platforms\n• Strong knowledge of SCADA applications (WinCC or similar)\n• Ability to design and implement safety systems (Siemens S7-F, PILZ, conventional)\n• Background in material handling, automation, or large-scale control systems\n• Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable)\n\nIf this sounds like the right fit for you—or if you know someone who may be interested—I’d love to arrange a call to discuss the role in more detail
