About the Role
This role is split between
- Compensation Package includes the ability to earn 50% of the revenue you generate. Bonus potential could be up to 100k/yr or more in addition to base salary..
- 50% Work-from-Home: project development, programming, AutoCAD, HMI work
- 50% On-Site: troubleshooting and support at customer facilities
- Most work is in the Philadelphia–Baltimore corridor, with occasional overnight travel (1–2x/month) nationwide
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PLC programs (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair systems in the field
- Create control designs and HMIs with AutoCAD Electrical. Lead projects from concept through startup
- Mentor technicians and coordinate with customers
Requirements
- 5+ years of PLC controls experience
- Proven troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel (local 80%, 20%)
- Bonus skills: AutoCAD Electrical, networking, robotics, safety systems
