Senior Construction Manager: Owner's Rep, AI Data Centers (US)
\n
This will be an owner-side construction manager role for a hyperscale AI infrastructure platform, overseeing on-the-ground delivery of large-scale, high-density data center builds from breaking ground through commissioning and turnover.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day construction execution across one or more active data center sites, representing the owner's interests
- Oversee general contractors, EPCs, and trade subcontractors against schedule, budget, quality, and safety commitments
- Track and report project schedule, budget, and risk to internal leadership; drive corrective action on slippage
- Chair OAC (owner/architect/contractor) meetings and coordinate field issues across design, MEP, and controls teams
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications for technical and commercial accuracy
- Enforce site safety programs and ensure contractor compliance with owner and jurisdictional safety standards
- Support commissioning and turnover, including punch list closeout and readiness for energization/go-live
- Manage document control, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication throughout construction

Requirements
\n
- \n
- BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in construction management, with direct experience delivering mission-critical or hyperscale data center projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems coordination, including electrical infrastructure and mechanical/cooling systems
- Experience managing GCs/EPCs on large capital projects (typically $100M+)
- Working knowledge of scheduling tools (P6 or similar) and cost/budget tracking
- Owner's-side or owner's-rep experience strongly
- Familiarity with relevant codes, safety standards, and commissioning processes for mission-critical facilities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across contractors, designers, and internal teams
- Willingness to be based on/near active construction sites, with travel as needed
