Senior Commercial Manager\n \nLocation: North London + Uxbridge (Head Office) \n \nPackage: £125,000pa package + Reporting to: Commercial Director\n \n Role Overview\nYou'll lead the commercial strategy, oversee procurement and cost control, and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors. This is a high-impact role with visibility at board level, ideal for a commercially astute leader ready to drive value and performance across the project lifecycle.\n Key Responsibilities\n\nLead the commercial delivery of a major residential/mixed-use scheme from pre-construction through to final account\n\nDevelop and implement project-specific commercial strategies aligned with business objectives\n\nOversee procurement of trade packages, ensuring best value and compliance with company policies\n\nManage contract negotiations, risk assessments, and dispute resolution\n\nMonitor and report on project financials, including CVRs, forecasts, and board-level reporting\n\nDrive value engineering initiatives and challenge design development to optimise cost efficiency\n\nEnsure robust cost control, variation management, and timely contractor payments\n\nMentor and manage a team of QSs, fostering professional development and accountability\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Construction, Sales, and Finance teams\n\nRepresent Commercial interests in design reviews, client meetings, and stakeholder presentations\n Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience in a senior commercial role within residential or mixed-use development\n\nStrong leadership and team management capabilities\n\nExcellent negotiation, analytical, and financial reporting skills\n\nIn-depth knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC) and procurement strategies\n\nAbility to influence at senior levels and present confidently to the board\n\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; MRICS \n What's in it for You?\n\n£125,000 salary package\n\nPrivate Medical Insurance\n\nGroup Pension Scheme & Life Insurance\n\n25 days holiday + bank holidays + holiday trading scheme\n\nBupa Dental Cover, Virtual GP, Health Cash Plan\n\nCycle to Work, Tech Scheme, Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice\n\nGym discounts, shopping perks via Perkpal\nIf available please apply with your CV or call us on (phone number removed)\n\nIND1
