Job Description

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to hire a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity (6–8 months). This hybrid role offers the chance to work with modern Azure technologies in a collaborative environment, with strong potential for long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

• Support and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, and storage
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking (VNets, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls)
• Deploy and manage virtual machines and container-based environments (AKS, Docker)
• Monitor system performance using Azure tools and resolve issues as needed
• Automate deployments using Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI
• Partner with DevOps and security teams to improve system performance and security

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years working with Azure
• Strong experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, and virtual machines
• Experience with containers (AKS/Docker) and cloud storage solutions
• Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell, or similar)
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments
• Knowledge of cloud security tools or zero trust concepts
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305)

This is a hybrid contract-to-hire role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
