Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to play a key role in delivering a high-impact cloud development initiative. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, integration, and DevOps practices, along with strong C#/.NET development capabilities. The role partners closely with technical leadership and a cross-functional Agile team to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions. In addition to contributing production-level code, this individual will mentor team members, strengthen delivery processes, and help drive one of the organization’s first major cloud implementation efforts within an accelerated timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement cloud- applications using C# and .NET within Microsoft Azure
- Lead and support Azure cloud integration and deployment efforts
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep templates
- Debug and optimize distributed, cloud-based applications
- Apply enterprise SDLC best practices within a cloud environment
- Collaborate with technical leadership, developers, QA, Product Owner, and Business Analyst
- Provide technical mentorship and support the development of team members
- Contribute to architectural decisions supporting secure, scalable, Zero Trust-based solutions
- Deliver high-priority initiatives within tight timelines
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years delivering solutions in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud development and implementation
- Experience with Azure App Service, Application Insights, Private Endpoints, and Zero Trust architecture
- Strong Azure DevOps experience, including pipeline creation and troubleshooting
- Proven experience delivering cloud-integrated enterprise solutions
- Solid background in Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep template authoring and maintenance
- Experience working within enterprise SDLC frameworks
- Strong C# and .NET development experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor other engineers
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Insurance industry knowledge, including property and casualty concepts, but not required

The Pay Rate range for this position is $53 - $70 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
