SUMMARY: Acts as team leader, responsible for managing and coordinating all team accounts
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Manages assigned accounts; analyzes accounts for adequacy and appropriate coverage. Prepares proposals, analysis and summaries as needed. · Solicits business from potential clients, completes sales and routes documents for processing, opens and services new accounts. · Markets the account and reviews marketing placements. · Builds long-term advisory relationship with clients, manages claims and related issues. · Reviews upcoming renewals 120 days out and sets the course of action by scheduling the team renewal meetings monthly; initiates renewal procedures. · Identifies cross/up selling opportunities. Expands and rounds out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending and implementing proper coverage. · Keeps the team informed of the carrier’s appetites and pricing changes. Attends carrier meetings and disseminates information to the team. · Responsible for making sure that all the terms and conditions of the insurance policies are properly prepared. · Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Certificates, licenses and registrations required: State Property and Casualty Insurance License · Computer skills required: Applied Systems: Epic Online Database software; Microsoft Office Suite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: · Occasionally required to stand/walk; frequently required to sit; continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity and to talk or hear. Normal office environment.
