Senior Project Engineer

to join our Site Design and Landscape Architect team in Iowa. This role involves collaborating on a variety of projects, with a focus on sports and athletics, overseeing project planning, development, and completion in a profitable manner, and managing client contact and business development activities.

This position can be based in

Ames, Cedar Rapids, or Des Moines, Iowa .

Responsibilities

This role focuses on site development projects, coordinating planning, development, and completion to ensure client satisfaction. Collaboration with Project Managers to understand and meet client needs is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution

Licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa

10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including construction observation

Experience in plan and specification development

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Skills

AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency

Ability to develop grading plans

Experience with stormwater management tools (HydroCAD, P8, MIDS)

Erosion and Sediment Control knowledge

Storm sewer pipe design experience

Experience with client contact and public presentations
