This position involves working on challenging capital programs in northeastern Illinois, including sewer, water main replacement, and water transmission projects. Responsibilities include civil design, project management, client communication, and leadership within the civil engineering practice.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Lead civil design from conceptual to completion.

Prepare specifications, RFQs, bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.

Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers and other disciplines.

Develop project schedules, scope, budgets, and manage change orders.

Ensure design and construction quality and compliance.

Lead field inspections and technical reporting.

Build client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Lead project budgets, proposals, and team guidance.

Ensure adherence to QA/QC and safety policies.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related, with 7+ years of experience; PE license .

Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel up to 50%.

**Compensation:** $140,000 - $185,000 annually, with benefits and bonus potential.
